About CSA

Be Part of a Musical Community

The CSA supports students and teachers with a network of music culture that has expanded to include classical and folk (fiddle) music styles.  Our students benefit from the camaraderie of a musical culture made up of other students, teachers, parents and other area music organizations.

As a non-profit organization, we have been able to obtain grant funding for tuition assistance to lower-income students and hold annual fund-raising activities in an attempt to keep rates at an affordable level for all families.

Private and Group Lessons for Violin, Viola and Cello

Offering lessons for people of all ages.  Young Children learn through the Suzuki method.  Children can begin to learn as young as age 3.

Performance Opportunities

The talents of many students join to create ensembles an orchestras.  Performances serve to inspire students to play and share beautiful music.

Our advanced players join with band students to form the Cadillac Area Youth Orchestra.

Students share music with the greater Cadillac community.  The CSA gives outreach concerts to nursing homes, adult high-rises, schools and senior centers in the area.  We also perform at art festivals and other community events.

We bring enrichment workshops to the Cadillac area with professionals from outside of the community.

Mission Statement

The CSA exists to offer young people and the general public, music education and music culture; to help local string musicians develop their skills and technique for a high level of performance, and to provide a variety of enrichment and performance opportunities to as many people as possible.
